What do we have to look forward to this season?
This last season we’re going to play heavily on the Fry–Lela relationship—which is always good material for a grand finale. The season begins with one episode fearing Fry and Lela going on their first romantic vacation together, which, of course, goes wrong in classic Futurama fashion. Unbeknownst to them, their secluded, romantic bungalow is actually an alien zoo.
Then we’re going to work toward the finale, where we are going to see Fry and Lela’s wedding. A lot of people complain because they think I’m spoiling it by giving that information away, but that’s actually just the beginning. There’s a fair amount of time travel and shocking gore, but tastefully delivered. You’ll have to see how it all fits together, but it’s a good conclusion to the show.
